This van has been one of the best parts of our deployment in Europe. My wife and I have used it to travel through Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Poland and the UK. We have taken it to places like the Dolomites, Davos, Zurich, Lake Como, Monaco, Cannes, Paris, Prague, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples and the Amalfi Coast. It made exploring Europe easy, comfortable and affordable, and our adult children have also enjoyed traveling in it when they visited.
This factory-ordered Mercedes camper is a comfortable daily driver and fully equipped touring van. It drives quietly and smoothly like a luxury passenger vehicle, has plenty of Autobahn power, and is easy to maneuver in cities and parking garages.
The 2.0L turbo-diesel produces approximately 200 hp and averages 38–40 mpg. On a July 4th weekend trip, 525-mile trip to France, it averaged 43.8 mpg. Highway range can exceed 700 miles.
