This is a very nice Shelby Cobra built off of a 98 BMW Z3. Adding to the great look, I have added Chrome Rollbar, Tribar Headlights, Cobra stamped brushed aluminum door trim, Cobra emblem floor mats. Right hand drive, imported from the UK. You won't find another like this in Europe. Priced low because of import restrictions requiring creative methods to register. Currently registered in the US in Germany system.
This is the most fun car I have ever had, and I am sadly unable to bring it to my next move.
If you have been dreaming of a Cobra, but need a functional car, this is the car for you.
Insuring it is easy. It insures as a BMW Z3. Replacing parts are easy as well. Some Cobras have snap on roofs and therefore are limited to 100kmh. This car has a factory convertible top so there are no speed restrictions.
Because of import restriction requirements of being in an original configuration, best if you have a Z3 registered in the German system, you can swap the body which would enable this UK spec car to be imported to the German system in BMW Z3 original configuration, and would convert your currently registered Z3 to the Cobra kit, effectively allowing both vehicles to be legally registered.
